We know that many people are not pleased with the outcome of the Town of La Valle Board meeting held Tuesday evening 4/22/25. Next steps by concerned lake users have been suggested and you could help. THIS IS NOT ABOUT MORE EMAIL WRITING.
The Friends of Redstone group needs to be expanded, with new energy. A small group of 4-8ish people has been suggested. It would be up to the group to decide how to move forward regarding a wake enhancement ordinance. Some of the ideas.

The group could lead, or help with, an independent survey of the 1041 property owners.

The group could provide guidance on the taking of pictures and/or videos of the impacts wake boats on safety, boat damage, shoreline property damage, etc. It was stated at the 4/22/25 Town Board meeting that some people don't think that wake boat waves are much different than other waves.

The group could provide guidance on taking pictures of algal blooms/scum

The group could provide guidance regarding instances of non-compliance to any wake enhancement equipment ordinance.
